Update
Hello Colchester
Well there was a certain excitement in the air. The band had yet again another gig to do.We were at the Twist. It brought memories flooding back to some of the band as they had performed there previously when they were with other bands. The band only had to take a small amount of gear, as they were using the in house equipment. Not the same as using your own stuff but with the band, they didn't mind as it was another gig that they could enjoy.
There had been some really good bands at the Twist that performed well. Now it was 7th Fades turn. The band never knew what was to hit them. First song there was plainly something wrong. One of the amps was making a strange noise, and Second song they tried to carry on. But finally 3rd song the amp really played up on Alex's guitar. So quick thinking Alex solved the problem. It was time for the guitar to be put down. 7th Fade did a great thing they did the rest of the gig minus rhythm guitar. Not what they rehearsed, but what a show. Alex even got one of the fans to sing over the mike with him. They were moving and performing fantastically. They put their all into it. This is 4 talented young men. This show is a credit to them. What a fantastic band we love them. At the end the staff of the Twist gave them free drinks to apologize for the equipment, which was real nice of them.
We would like to thank the staff and public for making this show possible.

Hello Sudbury!
On Sunday 22nd April 2007 7thfade performed at Easterns (Station Lounge) Sudbury.
Straight into the A team theme tune, Dickie's revenge......the audience liked the band and the manager!.... People were up dancing, clapping and cheering after every song!
The audience loved the music, lyrics and style, even they could not categorize the band, a couple of comments from the audience grabbed my attention though some claimed Mike played the drums like Keith Moon, and one person claimed that Haydn played the bass like The Wonderstuff's original bass player The Bass Thing (Rob).
Nick opened the second half of the night by singing The Bar.
Today was a special day for Alex it was his birthday!
The performance was very good.
The venue was good with a really nice and friendly crowd, and 7thfade would love to perform there again, a few even wanted the band's autographs......
Talking of autographs, after packing up and loading the equipment, 7thfade signed the bonnet of the manager's van to take the "design" to a new dimension!
May I take this opportunity to say a big "Thank you" to all who came to see 7thfade, to Eva for popping down the day before and handing out flyers and generating publicity and to Louise for contacting newspapers and radio stations.
After the performance......... The ghosts of Borley!
After the gig at Easterns, Sudbury, Haydn, Alex, Mike, and co decided to go to Borley on their way home, yes the most haunted place in England. Ghost hunting. Well we got to one of the roads on the way, and we all went cold. The road was well spooky. Mike and Eva had a strange encounter when at the same time they saw something. Eva thought it was a giant size Eagle but Mike saw it as something else. All the same it was something. We seemed to be going down a road we had never seen before and yet we never have had trouble before finding it. But all the same this road had us all spooked as well. The Van was playing up and the electrics were misbehaving. We turned around to try to find our route again. It was difficult but now we were there. Borley. We parked and out we got. It was dark, with a strange moon. We looked at our watches and guess what it was DEAD on midnight. Truly we were nervous. Was there any one watching us. It certainly felt like it. We found the old rectory gates. Alex and Aaron could not resist but to jump over and have a look. While the rest of us looked down the road at a shadow that seemed to be getting closer to us. Eva got well nervous as Haydn's girlfriend realized when Eva wouldn't let go of her arm. How could she be scared with these big brave band members with her? It was all a bit to much tonight so we finally decided it was time to go home.
Did we really feel the presence of ghosts or was it our over active imaginations. This we will never know. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Sudbury here we come! Category:
Thursday 19th April 2007 and 7thfade had a rehearsal at The Royal British Legion Hall at Kennington, for a change from the cramped garage.
After setting up all of the equipment, guitars tuned, Alex, Haydn, Nick and Mike were in high spirits, 1,2,3,4 straight into Dickies Revenge....
Haydn was dancing and rockin' playing the bass Nick was getting "into it" their guitars are an extra limb!
Before long Mike got too hot and stripped to the waist.
Alex, what can I say? Rock angel?
The performance was a real pleasure to witness, the only problem is trying to keep yourself still while trying to video and take photos!
All you want to do is get up and dance!
7thfade were played on Jez Sallis' show on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire!
Did you hear it?
Don't worry if you missed the show you can hear it on www.bbcradiocambridgeshire.co.uk
This wasn't the only radio station to play 7thfade this week!
On Friday 20th April BBC Radio Kent played a track from the "Clockin' in" EP too!
Sadly Louise's vehicle failed it's MOT and gone on to pastures new, the replacement?
A van covered in 7thfade silver stickers! (photo proof on the way!)Now that must be dedication and devotion!

Haverhill
7th fade played at the Chalkstone Community Centre on Saturday 31st March.
The band opened with the A Team theme tune, then went straight into Clockin' in, Nick sang The Bar.
The cover, "Creep" originally by Radiohead was outstanding, better than most people had ever heard either live or recorded by any band.
The first of the two new songs, Dickie's Revenge was dedicated to Richard Spring, it went down a storm with the audience, the second new song "Alien" seems to be as addictive as "one lump or two", only Alex could ever come up with the line "bar code bloody hell" the man is a genius......
The night ended on an electrifying 147 mph Hurricane. What another excellent performance by 7th fade.
